Acquiring Curator Qualifications
1. A curator's job
A curator is a specialist in a museum, who plays an important role in the activities of a museum, which include collecting and preserving materials, planning exhibitions, research and study, etc.
2. Curator qualifications
A person who holds a Bachelor degree can become qualified as a curator by obtaining Museum-related university course credits required by the ordinance of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Article 5 of the Museum Act).
This means that the person will have the necessary qualifications when he/she applies to a job at a museum, i.e. "curator qualifications". However, unlike a teacher's license, the person does not actually receive a written certificate.
